UPDATED* Youth Express

The Youth Express will continue to offer free transport to the Junior Night at Heathfield Youth Centre on Thursdays during term time. We have managed to secure two 8-seater buses, which will be picking up and dropping off students in Horam and Maynards Green as well as Burwash and Burwash Weald. They are commercial buses run by French and Son with a driver only, therefore there will be no extra supervision during the journeys. The young people will be expected to wear their seatbelts at all times whilst on the bus.

The Junior Night, Thursday - 6.30pm till 8.30 pm, which is available to yr 6, 7 and 8 students, offers a variety of activities such as sport, art, cooking or just the chance to meet their friends whilst enjoying outdoor or indoor sports facilities, pool/snooker, dance mats and much more. The entry to this club is £1 and runs term time only.

The last club in this term is on 18 December – Christmas Fancy Dress Disco (fancy dress is optional). The first club in the New Year will be on 15 January 2009.

Route 1
• Horam at 6.15pm and back in Horam at 8.45pm (outside Merrydown)
• Maynards Green at 6.20pm and back at 8.40pm (at the primary school lay-by)

Route 2
• Burwash at 6.10pm and back in Burwash at 8.50pm (the car park of the Bear Inn Pub)
• Burwash Weald at 6.20pm and back in Burwash Weald at 8.40pm (the car park of the Wheel Inn Pub)
